Hi, I'm Dina, and this is the story behind Next of Kin Collective.
Next of Kin began with my grandmother, Adele. Her lakeside home felt magical to me as a child: wingback chairs, antiques placed with intention, candy hidden in unexpected corners, and a chandelier I never stopped staring at. She made glamour feel warm, lived-in, and a little cheeky. Whenever I admired something, she'd smile and say, "I'll will it to ya."
She gave me my first lesson in curation before I even knew the word.
After 15 years in fashion marketing, building brands, shaping stories, and developing an eye for design, I felt the pull to create something of my own. Next of Kin became my way of taking everything I had learned about storytelling, taste, and world-building, and using it to build a business on my own terms. Something more personal, more soulful, and a little less mass produced.
I started sourcing while thrifting for my own children, my next of kin, and found myself drawn back to the quiet magic of a well-loved home.
Every piece in this shop is hand selected by me from estate sales, thrift stores, and the occasional dusty garage. I look for pieces with character, history, humor, elegance, and that little spark that makes you stop and say, "Wait. I need this."
I hope you find something here that feels like it was waiting for you.
Welcome to Next of Kin Collective.
