next of kin:

2: those persons entitled by statute to receive the property in an intestate's estate

Heirlooms for the life you’re building, not just the one you inherited.

Hi, I’m Dina and this is our story.

Some things are meant to be passed down.

Next of Kin Collective was born from a lifelong love of beautiful things — the kind that carry stories, hold memories, and somehow feel more alive than anything brand new ever could.

It started with my Grandmother Adele. She was, simply put, the most stunning woman I had ever seen. She dressed to the nines and lived in a lakeside home that felt like stepping into another world — one filled with wingback chairs, a china cabinet I would press my nose against as a little girl, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was inside, and perfectly placed antiques that somehow always seemed to hold candy. Her bathroom had a chandelier that I would stare at in pure amazement. She had a way of making glamour feel warm, and beauty feel like something you could actually live inside of. She noticed my fascination early on, and with a knowing smile she would tell me, "I'll will it to ya."

She planted something in me that never left.

After 15 years working in marketing — much of it in the fashion industry, leading creative teams and developing a sharp eye for design, curation, and storytelling — I eventually found myself thrifting for a different reason entirely: my children. My own next of kin. Wandering through estate sales, I kept finding myself chasing that same feeling Adele gave me — that sense of nostalgia, of glamour, of a life beautifully and intentionally lived.

Next of Kin Collective is the result of all of that — every formative memory, every career lesson, every early morning at an estate sale where something special catches my eye and simply will not let go.

Every piece in this shop has been hand selected by me from estate sales and thrift stores. Only the best makes it here. I am looking for the item that stops you mid-scroll, the one that belongs in your home, the one you might just find yourself passing down someday.

Whether you are building a collection for yourself or curating a life your own next of kin will one day marvel at — I hope you find something here that brings you as much joy as it brought me to find it.

Welcome to Next of Kin Collective.
