A little pomp and circumstance for the tabletop.

This vintage brass stand features an ornate openwork rendering of the British Royal Coat of Arms, complete with the lion and unicorn, crossed swords and the traditional mottos “Honi soit qui mal y pense” and “Dieu et mon droit.” Four curved legs lift the piece off the surface, giving it just enough presence without taking itself too seriously.

Originally made as a trivet or decorative stand, we like it beneath a plant, candle, small vessel, or simply sitting out on a stack of books. The aged brass finish has developed plenty of patina and character over time, which is exactly how we like it.
