This vintage pair of sculptural scallop shell bookends is nearly identical, with matching fan-shaped silhouettes, deeply ridged detailing, and warm aged brass-tone finishes. The only noticeable difference is in the shape of their bases, a subtle variation that gives the pair a little more history and a lot more charm.

Rich with patina and aged to perfection, they have been left exactly as found. The next owner may choose to polish them for a brighter finish, but we preferred to keep their beautifully timeworn character intact.

They were acquired together and will stay that way. After all, vintage rarely arrives in factory-perfect pairs, and that is precisely the point.
