Mid-century Italian pottery doing exactly what it does best: being completely incapable of blending in.

Designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi in the 1960s, this Italian art pottery cachepot features a rich olive-green glaze with a bold cobalt band, stylized rust-toned florals, incised detailing, and subtle metallic accents. The rounded form and saturated palette are classic Londi, graphic, earthy, and just strange enough.

Originally imported by Rosenthal-Netter, the piece retains its foil label reading “Created in Italy for Rosenthal-Netter” and is numbered 646 on the underside.

Use it as a planter, fruit bowl, or simply let it sit there looking extremely Italian.

At Next of Kin Collective, each piece is thoughtfully sourced and selected for its character, history, and beauty. Vintage and antique items are rarely in perfect condition—and that’s part of what makes them special. Subtle wear, patina, and signs of age are not flaws, but markers of a life well lived.

We do our best to accurately represent each item through detailed descriptions and photographs, noting any significant imperfections. We encourage you to review all images and descriptions carefully before purchasing.

All items are sold as is, and all sales are final.
