Vintage 1950s Miller Studio “Mr. and Mrs. Fish” Chalkware Wall Plaque
A fish with very good fins and a flair for the dramatic.
Made by Miller Studio in the 1950s, this sculptural chalkware wall plaque comes from the beloved “Mr. and Mrs. Fish” series. Deeply carved scales and sweeping fins are finished in moody green, black, and aged gold, giving it the kind of patina that cannot be hurried.
A wonderfully peculiar piece of mid-century wall décor, perfect for a gallery wall, powder room, or any corner that could use a little underwater theater.
