Vintage Hand-Carved Kenyan Soapstone Fish Sculpture
Small fish, excellent shelf presence. Hand-carved in Kenya from richly colored soapstone, this petite vintage sculpture features an elongated silhouette, dimensional fins, and crisp incised details picked out in warm ivory.
Its simple, graphic form feels equal parts folk art and midcentury modern—perfect for tucking into a bookshelf, placing atop a stack of books, or joining a collection of well-traveled curiosities. Small, solid, and considerably more interesting than another decorative orb.
The original “Hand Carved — Made in Kenya” label remains attached to the underside.
Vintage condition with light scratches, natural stone variation, and minor surface wear consistent with age and handcraft. Please review all photos closely.
