A pair of vintage ceramic escargot plates in a rich, moody blue glaze, hand-painted with loose folk-art florals in cream, rust, and olive green. Each plate has six rounded wells and petite side handles, made for escargot but fully prepared to hold olives, sauces, nuts, or whatever else the evening requires.
The painted designs vary slightly, which is exactly the point. Functional, sculptural, and far too good-looking to hide in a cabinet.
Sold as a set of two. Vintage condition with light wear and natural glaze variation consistent with age.
